Planning permission given for M5 business park

Gladman Developments has this week received detailed planning permission for 150,000 sq ft of new industrial and office space.
Cullompton Business Park will cover nine acres in total and is adjacent to the existing Kingsmill industrial estate close to junction 28 on the M5, Property Week reports.
The Congleton-based firm believes the new development will address the shortage of commercial space along the southern M5 corridor.
Development manager Andy Hartwright told the publication: "We expect to attract businesses from in and around Exeter, Taunton and Bridgwater looking for expansion space, as well as footloose requirements from further afield wanting to benefit to benefit from this excellent location."
Stags Land and Vickery Holman are understood to be acting as joint agents for Cullompton Business Park.
Gladman Developments was founded in 1987 by David and Karen Gladman, who sold their home to fund the first plots for development of bespoke executive housing.
Over the next decade retirement apartments and care homes were added to the development programme and Gladman now concentrates on commercial development, with some residential interests remaining.
