North Yorkshire business park 'more than half occupied'

A number of tenants have been attracted to a North Yorkshire business park, with more than half the units taken by occupiers.

Whitfield Business Park in Knaresborough has tenants ranging from an investor to a large German engineering firm, the Business Desk reports.

Other firms which have chosen the Manse Lane offices as their headquarter base include a joinery business and a website design company.

Scheme developer Wharfedale Homes also has its head office at the business park.

John Webster, of agent Carter Jonas, told the publication that the success of the scheme demonstrates the demand for good quality small office units.

"The specification includes full raised floors, WCs and kitchen facilities above ground and first floors even in the small office buildings," he said.

"The design and appearance is also innovative and with an excellent location the development suits those businesses looking for a statement building."

Four units remain available, ranging from 1,300 to 5,000 square feet.
