Wirall set for commercial property expansion

The Wirral International Business Park is set for further expansion towards the Mersey river, making further room for commercial property investment.
Adverts have been placed by the Wirral Council and English Partnerships in the hope that a number of property firms will build commercial and industrial property for use by small and medium-sized enterprises, Property Week reports.
Councillor Steve Foulkes, leader of Wirral Council, claims that the new development will allow for further economic growth in the region.
He said: "This extension to Wirral International Business Park will continue the success of recent years in attracting new businesses and jobs to our local economy.
"We expect the successful developer to create a high quality scheme that will raise the quality of the whole business park and this key gateway into Wirral."
The land, which has been unused for almost 40 years, used to be a bulk oil storage for the Ministry of Defence.
