Trump positive about UK property

US tycoon Donald Trump has said he expects the UK's property market to avoid the severe problems seen in America's real estate industry.
Mr Trump told The Times he thought there had been less over-building in Britain, meaning it would avoid a property recession of the type seen across the Atlantic.
He also told the paper that the US real estate crisis had at least another 12 months to go before things started to improve.
Quoted by the Times, Mr Trump said: "The problem with the US market is nothing to do with supply and demand, it is because people cannot get credit."
The paper also said US developers had accelerated the number of homes they built over the last teen years, leaving the country with around nine months' worth of "over-supply clogging the market".
Mr Trump is currently in the middle of a council inquiry into his plans for a golf resort in Aberdeen, Scotland.
