Terrace Hill chosen for Stockport redevelopment

Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council has chosen Terrace Hill as the preferred developer for a new business park in the town.
The park, which will be based at a brownfield site, will provide 270,000 square feet of office space - enough room for at least 2,500 employees.
The site is part of a wider £1 billion regeneration of the town, known as Future Stockport, which is aimed at attracted a range of business to the region.
Adam Pratt, development director from Terrace Hill, revealed that the plans were key to the ongoing improvements of the town.
He said: "The opportunity to develop a high quality mid-urban business park in Stockport marks another key step in the town's renaissance."
Meanwhile, New East Manchester has consulted around 30,000 local residents on its plans to regenerate the area.
Residents have asked the developers to provide more open spaces to discourage crime and anti-social behaviour.
