Telereal tower given the go ahead

Commercial development plans have been given the go ahead

Telereal has been granted permission for a multi-million pound redevelopment of a London office block.

The £74 million proposals will see the BT Exchange building on Fore Street in central London undergo significant changes.

When completed the Telereal tower will provide the City with an extra 342,000 square feet of office space spread over 13 storeys.

Nigel Reid, national development manger with the company, claimed that the tower would provide suitable commercial property for its surroundings.

He said: "[The property provides] state-of-the-art office accommodation appropriate to a world financial centre."

The office complex, which was designed by award winning architects HKR, is situated opposite to Moorgate Underground station.

Meanwhile, TK Maxx and Marks and Spencer have revealed that they will be leasing space at Luton Mall's St George's Square development.

TK Maxx will take 38,000 square feet of the space, while Marks and Spencer will relocate from its existing Luton store.ADNFCR-1203-ID-18457589-ADNFCR
