South Wales set for multi-million re-development

The Welsh Assembly has sold 100 acres of land to major property developers in a move that will see significant redevelopment in the area.
A number of major firms, including Taylor Wimpey and Barratt Homes are hoping to bring residential homes and commercial property to the region.
The group of firms want to attract companies to the proposed 300,000 square feet of commercial and leisure space and 2,000 new homes, Property Week reports.
Leuan Wyn Jones, Welsh Assembly minister for the economy and transport, has suggested that the scheme could play a major role in the regeneration of the area and bring a raft of job opportunities to the region.
He told the publication: "Waterfront Barry plays a vital role in the ongoing regeneration of South Wales and these proposals will provide a significant boost for the area and create new jobs through the commercial and leisure developments."
