Signs of life emerging in commercial property sector

A new report has highlighted that confidence is growing in the commercial property market.
The research by BDO Stoy Hayward found that activity in the sector grew for the first time in around 18 months during August, with 7.8 per cent of property firms reporting a rise in interest, reports CNPlus.co.uk.
It was also revealed that total investment returns grew for the second consecutive month over the period analysed.
Solly Benaim, head of real estate and construction at BDO Stoy Hayward, said people should have concerns about the sector despite the "signs of life".
He added to the website: "Interested parties should be cautious about the journey ahead. This is a market for experienced and professional players only."
Earlier this week, consultancy firm Savills claimed that commercial property investment opportunities are increasingly arising at auction, as it announced details about the one being held on October 12th in London.
