Second phase of Sheffield scheme complete

Phase two of Carillion Development's mixed-use scheme the Square is complete.
The latest stage of the £80 million Sheffield project, in the Castlegate area, includes 42,000 square feet (sq ft) of grade A office space over six floors, Property Mall reports.
Carillion's development director Neil McMillan told the news provider that completion of the latest phase signifies the "transformation" the site has undergone.
"The development agenda for the Square was to initiate the redevelopment of Castlegate and our early success in achieving high profile occupiers proved that our confidence in this urban quarter was justified," he added.
Office space totalling 43,000 sq ft in phase one has been secured by South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.
The first phase also includes a 114-bed Travelodge and 400-space car park.
Carillion has annual revenue of around £5 billion and operations across the UK, Europe, Canada, the Middle East, North Africa and the Caribbean.
