Property investment sentiment at record high

Commercial property investment sentiment skyrockets.

Experts have claimed that sentiment in the commercial property market is at a record high, despite the ongoing economic downturn.

According to Reita's quarterly investment perspective, property is now being "priced for the recession" and not for "Armageddon".

The organisation claimed that 90 per cent of investment professionals said that the outlook in property sector was positive and that investment conditions had improved over the past three months.

The figure represents the highest score recorded for positive sentiment since Reita began keeping records in March 2008.

Reita consulted 24 representatives from leading property investment organisations for the survey, which highlights the key issues facing the property investment industry today.

Earlier this month, Reita welcomed the decision by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) to relax the rules surrounding borrowing within Self Invested Personal Pensions (Sipps).

The move by HMRC means Sipps investors with 75 per cent mortgages covering commercial property can now change provider and find the most competitive rates.ADNFCR-1203-ID-19246624-ADNFCR
