Logistics sites 'enjoying commercial property investor interest'

CBRE published the latest findings on the sector

The industrial and logistics sector remains an area of interest to commercial property investors, according to new research from CB Richard Ellis (CBRE).

In the report, the body claims that despite levels of overall activity being subdued, the area continues to offer investors a high and stable income, as well as a performance based on less variable elements of growth assumptions.

The attractiveness of the sector has also been influenced by other trends, including the expansion of third party logistics specialists and the number of funds targeting the sector.

David Turner, executive director of capital markets at CBRE, said: "We are aware of a number of parties looking to target this sector over the remainder of the year either through new capital raising or by putting previously unspent funds into the market."

Earlier this month, research from CBRE found that the number of commercial property investment transactions completed in Southampton recently has risen.ADNFCR-1203-ID-19268693-ADNFCR
