Goodman sells Bracknell industrial unit for £9m

Goodman Property Investors has sold the Focus 4 industrial unit in Bracknell for £9 million.

The unit was sold to John Guest Group of Companies, manufacturer of push-in fittings, pipes and plastic plumbing systems, Property Mall reports.

It will occupy the 65,525 square feet industrial and warehouse unit, as well as the adjoining yard which is let short term to BMW.

The development also includes 3,893 sq ft of office space and parking for 158 vehicles.

Goodman Property Investors was advised by Savills in the sale, whose director Richard Sullivan told the news provider: "Savills was brought in to advise at the beginning of the year, so we are delighted to have assisted in securing a purchase in just six months.

"The building is situated in a well-established industrial location and this sale underpins the fact that despite general market conditions, occupier demand remains strong."

Goodman Property Investors was acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management in May this year, in a move which made Aberdeen the second largest property investment manager in the UK.
