"Exciting" new commercial property plans unveiled

Developers have revealed plans that are expected to see the creation of new commercial properties in Oswestry, Shropshire.
In a move which could provide a number of opportunities for property investors, the proposals from Richard Burbidge, working in partnership with several over property firms, are to be open to public consultation, the Border Counties Advertizer reports.
According to the newspaper, the plans include the development of a new supermarket, cinema, DIY store and a health centre on the sites of the company's manufacturing and distribution facilities.
Steve Underhill, chief executive of Richard Burbidge, said: "This team has created an exciting plan for the site, which meets many of the town's future requirements."
There has been a "long-standing desire" for the town to have a cinema, he added.
Richard Burbidge opened its first factory in Oswestry in 1964 and opened a second factory in increase capacity in Chirk.
