Commercial property investment 'offers very secure cash flow'

An expert has claimed commercial property offers a "secure cash flow"

Investors have been advised by an expert that commercial property can offer them a "very secure cash flow".

According to Jonathan Hull, head of capital markets at CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), the property market has emerged as an "interesting, complementary sector to equities and bonds".

He added that such benefits helped to boost investor activity in the commercial property market at the end of 2009.

"There is a huge amount of global equity that is now focused in the commercial markets," he explained.

"In the latter half of 2009 we saw a huge amount of money coming back towards London because that market had been the quickest and most efficient market to correct."

Recent research published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors revealed that investor activity in commercial property rose across 70 per cent of the globe during the fourth quarter of 2009.

The UK recovery was led by the London office market, where the amount of available space fell for the first time in two years.ADNFCR-1203-ID-19594070-ADNFCR
