Commercial property development opens near Newcastle

Caddick Group has built the new building

Caddick Group has announced the launch of its brand new £30 million commercial property development close to Newcastle.

The new Gateway West building, which is based on the Newburn Riverside business park and was created with funding from development agency One North East, includes a range of office and industrial space.

According to the Northern Echo, hopes are high that the development will prove a boost to both business and commercial property investment in the local region.

Margaret Fay, chairwoman of One North East, told the newspaper that the building was "an ambitious scheme" which offers "a bright future" for Newburn Riverside.

She added: "The Caddick Group has shown great ambition and confidence in these difficult times by pressing on with this impressive development."
News of the development has come after Cubex Land recently confirmed its new £35 million development in Bristol has now been completed.

The new Paragon building is expected to be marketed by king Sturge and Hartnell Taylor Cook.
