Bristol shopping development 90% prelet

House of Fraser has signed to Bristol development.

The Cabot Circus shopping development in Bristol is 90 per cent let ahead of its September opening, Property Week reports.

Its jobsite has already received more than 4,000 requests for those looking for employment and 11 retailers have signed up to rent space over the past month.

Stores at the 1.5 million sq ft centre will include Urban Outfitters, Bench, House of Fraser, Swarovski and American Apparel.

Cabot Circus is a joint venture between Bristol Alliance partners Land Securities and Hammerson and will feature 120 new stores, leisure facilities and 200 homes.

Keith Stone, Bristol Alliance leasing director, told Property Week: "These latest signings to cutting edge street brands is clear proof of Bristol's growing importance as a major new location for retailers.

"We are already over the 90 per cent let by floorspace milestone and anticipate that the scheme will be at least 95 per cent let by the time of its opening."

Four architectural practices were involved in the design concept to ensure a mix of styles in the scheme.ADNFCR-1203-ID-18628703-ADNFCR
