Baker Tilly moves to Spinningfields

The accountancy firm Baker Tilly has announced its relocation from current premises on Lincoln Square to new offices in the Spinningfields development.

It is to take 17,000 square feet of ninth-floor space at 3 Hardman Street over a 15-year lease.

The firm expects the relocation to be complete by the end of the year.

Managing partner Mark Blakemore told Crain's Manchester Business that 3 Hardman Street was "clearly the best option" from numerous sites in and out of the city centre.

"It ensures we remain at the heart of the city's professional community and within the most accessible location for our staff," he added.

"Moving to 3 Hardman Street clearly communicates our confidence and ambition to be the leading firm in the numerous markets in which we operate."

Spinningfields comprises more than 20 signature buildings set in six acres.

It includes 2.37 million sq ft of office space, a 200-bed five star hotel and 391 apartments.
