£60m London regeneration scheme completed

Regeneration

A £60 million south London refurbishment of commercial property has been completed by Igloo Regeneration.

Over 28,000 square feet of office space has been created in the Bermondsey Square regeneration scheme in Southwark along with other commercial property including a cinema, boutique hotel and general retail space, according to Property Week.

Public relations firm Cow PR was the first commercial tenant the Igloo managed to bring in, after reaching a deal in July.

The guiding rent of £37.50 per square foot was agreed on a 10-year lease after the agreement was advised by E A Shaw.

It is understood that development was designed by Munkenbeck and Marshall Architects, who have previously undertaken other commercial property ventures including the Greater London House Office Refurbishment and the Jessica Square Office Development.

Meanwhile, University Partnerships Programme recently completed the development of an "eco-residence" at the University of Kent's Woolf College in Canterbury.
